(A) It is further mutually understood that mutual aid concepts and principles cover any and all such incidents to the point of an incident qualifying for state/federal financial assistance.
(B) The following policy shall govern payment for use of resources by a township providing assistance to another township in the event of an emergency or disaster:
(1) Payment shall be made if the emergency or disaster qualifies for state and/or federal financial assistance and is received;
(2) Payment shall be limited to the amount received from state and/or federal sources;
(3) Payment shall be made to the local unit of government if mutually agreed upon by both parties; and
(4) Payment will not be made if the emergency does not qualify for state/federal financial assistance.
