In order to maximize the prompt, full, and effective use of resources of all participating governments in the event of an emergency or disaster, we hereby adopt the Michigan Emergency Management Assistance Compact, being M.C.L.A. §§ 3.991-3.994 and 3.1001-3.1004, which is attached to the resolution passed 11-9-2004 and incorporated by reference.
