For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BUSINESS. Any individual, firm, municipality, company, association, society, corporation, partnership, or group, including their officers and employees who have responsibility for or actual involvement in the operation of a business within the township limits, whether the same be for profit or non-profit, which is registered with the County of Jackson or State of Michigan as a business.
