(A) The Jackson County Sheriff's Office shall maintain records of law enforcement responses to false alarms in the township.
(B) For the purpose of additional fines and/or penalties under this chapter, the tracking of false alarms shall be limited to a calendar year and will restart January 1 of each year.
(C) The Jackson County Sheriff's Office shall draft warning letters based upon their records and provide them to the township to be mailed to the appropriate alarm user.
(D) Citations shall be served in one of the following manners:
(1) An authorized official may serve an alarm user a municipal civil infraction or misdemeanor citation in person for a violation of this chapter;
(2) An authorized official may post or attach a copy of a municipal civil infraction citation upon the building or structure where the alarm system is utilized. In addition, a copy of the citation shall be sent by first-class mail to the alarm user.
