§ 51.094 CONTROL MANHOLE.
   (A)   When required by the township, the owner(s) of any property serviced by the public sewer shall install a suitable control manhole upstream from the connection to the public sewer system.
   (B)   The purpose of this control manhole shall be to enable observation, sampling, and measurements of the wastes discharged from the property.
   (C)   The control manhole shall be at the property line or in a location approved by the township, shall be easily accessible, and shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the township and the Township Engineer.
   (D)   Installation of the control manhole, sampling equipment and other appurtenances required by the township shall be at the expense of the property owner.
   (E)   The owner shall operate, maintain, repair, and replace the control manhole and appurtenances in a safe, accessible, and operable manner at all times at his or her expense.
