379.16 SPEED LIMITS; EXCEPTIONS.
   (a)   Except upon Springfield Lake or where otherwise posted for no wake or a lesser speed, no person shall operate any watercraft upon waters within the County at a speed greater than ten (10) miles per hour, or at such lesser speed than is reasonable or proper, having due regard to the traffic, water surface, atmospheric conditions, width of waterway or any other hazardous condition.
   (b)   No person shall operate any watercraft upon the waters of Springfield Lake at a speed greater than six (6) miles per hour or no wake, or at such lesser speed than is reasonable or proper, having due regard to the traffic, water surface, atmospheric conditions, width of waterway or any other hazardous condition.
   (c)   No person shall operate a powercraft within or through a designated speed zone, ski zone or open zone designated for combined speed boating and water skiing at a greater speed than is reasonable, having due regard to traffic, water surface, atmospheric conditions, width of waterway or any other hazardous condition.
   (d)   The ten (10) and six (6) miles per hour speed limits established in this section do not apply from sunrise to sunset in designated speed zones, ski zones and open zones during the times when such zones are operating.
