For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(a) "Waters within the County" means all streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, marshes, watercourses, waterways and all other bodies of water, natural or man-made, which are situated wholly or partially within this County.
(b) "Vehicle" means everything on wheels or runners, including motor vehicles, snowmobiles, ice boats and all purpose vehicles.
(c) "Motor vehicle" means every vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than muscular power or wind, including, but not limited to, automobiles, trucks, buses, tractors, motor homes, trail bikes, golf carts, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, motorized bicycles and motor scooters, but excepting snowmobiles and all purpose vehicles.
(d) "Snowmobile" means any self-propelled vehicle designed primarily for use on snow or ice, and steered by skis, runners or caterpillar treads.
(e) "Ice boat" means any craft, operated upon skis or runners and equipped with mast and sails, dependent upon the wind for propulsion in the normal course of operation, designed primarily for use on ice or snow.
(f) "All purpose vehicle" means any self-propelled vehicle designed primarily for cross-country travel on land or water, or on more than one type of terrain, and steered by wheels or caterpillar treads, or any combination thereof, including vehicles that operate on a cushion of air, vehicles commonly known as all-terrain vehicles, all season vehicles and mini-bikes, but excluding any self-propelled vehicle not primarily used for purposes of personal transportation.
(g) "Law enforcement officer" means a sheriff, deputy sheriff, constable, marshal, deputy marshal, municipal police officer, State highway patrolman, member of a police force employed by a metropolitan housing authority under Ohio R.C. 3735.31(D), game protectors as defined under Ohio R.C. 1531.13, park officer as defined under Ohio R.C. 1541.10, 1545.13 and 6101.75, State watercraft officers as defined under Ohio R.C. 1547.521 and any peace officer as defined under Ohio R.C. 109.71(A)(1).
