(a) There is hereby created a Permanent Change Fund for use by the Department of Sanitary Sewer Services, as described in subsections (b) and (c) hereof, for use in conducting the necessary daily business and duties prescribed by Ohio R.C. 6117.01 et seq. and making various petty cash purchases needed by the Department.
(b) The Department shall issue a purchase order for three hundred dollars ($300.00) which shall be encumbered from the Sewer and Water Funds Account Nos. 6010-150-4503 and 6002-150-4503, respectfully. The Department shall issue a warrant payable to the order of the Budget and Management Director. Such Director shall endorse and cash the warrant and deposit such money into the cash box to be used at the Department.
(c) The Permanent Change Fund shall remain fixed at three hundred dollars ($300.00) unless modified by further action of Council.
