(a) All Trustees herein appointed shall be residents of the County of Summit, Ohio. The Summit-Akron Solid Waste Management Authority Board of Trustees shall have all the powers and duties enumerated in Chapters 343 and 3734 of the Ohio Revised Code, and shall consist of the following members:
(1) Three (3) trustees appointed by the City of Akron, one (1) of whom shall be the Mayor of Akron;
(2) Two (2) trustees appointed by the County of Summit, one (1) of whom shall be the County Executive;
(3) One (1) trustee appointed by the Township Association of Summit County;
(4) One (1) trustee representing the cities of Summit County excluding the City of Akron, appointed by the Summit County Mayor's Association;
(5) One (1) trustee representing the villages of Summit County, appointed by the Summit County Mayor's Association;
(6) The Health Directors of the Summit County Combined General Health District and the City of Akron; and
(7) One (1) trustee chosen by the other ten (10) trustees who is not a public official.
(b) Of the total number of Trustees appointed by the County of Summit, (Section 2(b), (f)) one (1) shall be a resident of the City of Akron.
