There is hereby created the Board of Building Appeals, consisting of ten (10) members. Members shall be appointed by the County Executive with the consent of Council and shall serve without compensation. The Board shall conduct hearings for any persons adversely affected by any order, decision or ruling of the Building Official upon a timely appeal. In conducting such hearings, the Board of Building Appeals shall have the authority to affirm, modify or reverse the order, decision or ruling.
