(a) Any food stamp redemption center operating pursuant to contract with the County of Summit which is permitted by the Director of Job and Family Services to operate a check cashing service on the premises shall charge fees for cashing county warrants as follows:
Warrants With Face Amount | Fee Not to Exceed |
$250.00 and under | 1 1/2% of face amount. |
Over $250.00 | 1 1/2% of $250.00 plus 1% of excess of face amount over $250.00 |
(b) Food stamp redemption centers operating a check cashing service shall post in a conspicuous area available to the public a statement of fees charged for cashing county warrants.
(c) Violation of this section may result in the revocation of permission for check cashing and financial services to be conducted on the premises of a food stamp redemption center.
