(a) The Building Official shall make or cause to be made inspections to insure compliance with this Building Code. He may require that certain inspections shall be made at specific points in the construction. All reports of inspections shall be in writing and signed by the person making them or the person responsible for making them.
(b) The Building Official may request the services of such experts as he may deem necessary to report to him their opinion upon unusual technical questions that may arise.
