The fee for autopsies performed on behalf of a county other than the County of Summit is hereby established at $1,230.00 per autopsy for 2009. The fee shall be adjusted annually thereafter to reflect the actual value of the technicians and materials used to perform autopsies for other counties. No later than December 1 of each year, the Medical Examiner shall give the County Executive an estimate of the actual value of the technicians and materials used to perform autopsies on behalf of other counties for the following year and no later than December 15 of each year, the Executive shall issue an Executive Order setting the autopsy fee for the following year.
