Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 5741.021, and for the purpose of providing general revenue for the County and paying the expenses of administering such levy, there is hereby levied a tax at the rate of one-half of one percent (1/2%) on the storage, use, or other consumption in the County of Summit of motor vehicles acquired by a transaction subject to the tax imposed by Ohio R.C. 5739.02, and on the storage, use, or other consumption in the County of Summit of tangible personal property, purchased in another county within this State by a transaction subject to the tax imposed by Ohio R.C. 5739.02.
