115.03 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT OFFICE.
   (a)   The Equal Opportunity Compliance Office shall have authority to establish hiring and promotion practices in accord with Federal, State, and local regulations regarding employment opportunities which shall be applied to all County employees functioning under each appointing authority within Summit County.
 
   (b)   The Equal Opportunity Compliance Officer shall perform necessary functions to promote equal opportunity employment and shall hear complaints by County personnel under each appointing authority of the County arising on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, handicap, age, sexual orientation or gender identity. Complaints shall be heard according to procedures established and distributed in writing to every County employee.
