(a) The County Sheriff may charge the following fees to applicants for licenses to carry a concealed handgun:
Concealed Handgun License Fee: | $45.00 |

Replacement Fee (lost or destroyed) | 15.00 |
Federal Background Check | 24.00 |
(b) The County Sheriff shall deposit all fees received from applicants for concealed handgun licenses, temporary licenses, replacement licenses and federal background check into a concealed handgun license issuance expense fund administered by the County Fiscal Officer. The County Sheriff, subject to the approval of County Council, may expend fees deposited into the fund for any costs incurred in connection with performing any administrative functions related to the issuance of licenses or temporary emergency licenses to carry a concealed handgun under Section 2923.125 or 2923.1213 of the Ohio Revised Code, including personnel expenses and the costs of a handgun safety education program.
