(a) No person shall possess an open container of beer or intoxicating liquor while in a watercraft that is engaged in pulling any person upon skis, aquaplane or other similar device or any barefoot skier, except when such alcoholic beverage is within a locked compartment of such watercraft.
(b) No person shall possess an open container of beer or intoxicating liquor while in a watercraft that is exceeding the ten (10) or six (6) miles per hour speed limit, whichever is applicable, except when such alcoholic beverage is within a locked compartment of such watercraft.
