(A) No person, firm, or corporation shall keep any hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits at any place within the borough, except with special permission from the Board of Health.
(B) Such permission shall be granted only on the following conditions.
(1) Such hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits shall be kept in good condition, healthy, clean, and free from disease.
(2) Pens shall be provided for all hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits, and no hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits shall be permitted to run at large.
(3) No pen shall be located within 50 feet of any dwelling house or within 30 feet of any street.
(4) All pens shall be kept clean and free from vermin, and shall be dry, airy, well lighted, and not overcrowded.
(5) All refuse, food, and excrement shall be removed as often as necessary to prevent odors from developing therefrom.
(6) Any permission granted by the Board of Health under this section may stipulate the maximum number of hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits that may be kept upon any premises thereunder.
(7) Any permission granted by the Board of Health under this section may be revoked thereby at any time when any of the conditions of this section are not complied with.
