§ 31.18 COMMITTEE EXAMINATION OF ORDINANCES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND SIGNATURE OF REPORTS.
   It shall be the duty of each of the standing committees and the members thereof to examine the ordinances of the town pertaining to the subject with which such committee is especially charged and to endeavor to ascertain, from time to time, whether the ordinances appertaining are sufficient and satisfactory, and to suggest to the Council from time to time such changes in the ordinances as they may deem proper. All committee reports to Council shall be approved by a majority of the committee.
