The territory embraced within the corporate limits of the town, or the police jurisdiction thereof, is declared a bird sanctuary. It shall be unlawful for any person to kill, injure, harm or molest any bird within the police jurisdiction of the town, or to destroy, injure, rob or molest the eggs or the nests and breeding places of such birds, except domestic birds and fowl.
