§ 70.06 BUS OPERATION.
   (A)   (1)   The operation of buses at any time is hereby declared unlawful on the following street: Cross Park Drive.
      (2)   The Village Manager is hereby authorized to erect the appropriate traffic-control device to indicate the above at the following intersections:
         (a)   Cross Park Drive at Grouse Moor Drive; and
         (b)   Cross Park Drive at Sugar Mountain Drive.
   (B)   Buses between 21 feet and 38 feet maximum overall length may be operated on village streets only after being inspected and approved by the village’s Police Department as to equipment, safety, and driver certification (N.C. Class A driver’s licenses).
   (C)   (1)   The operation of buses during weather conditions that warrant the enactment of the chain law (§ 70.05) is hereby declared unlawful on the following streets:
         (a)   Grouse Moor Drive;
         (b)   Briarcliff Road;
         (c)   Highland Drive; and
         (d)   Mossy Creek Lane.
      (2)   The Village Manager is hereby authorized to erect the appropriate traffic-control devices to indicate the above at the following intersections:
         (a)   Grouse Moor Drive at Cross Park Drive/N.C. Hwy 184;
         (b)   Briarcliff Road at Sugar Mountain Drive;
         (c)   Highland Drive at the tennis courts; and
         (d)   Mossy Creek Lane at Sugar Mountain Drive.
   (D)   Buses between 21 and 38 feet overall length, inclusive, may be operated on Grouse Moor Drive, Briarcliff Road, Highland Drive, and Mossy Creek Lane during weather conditions that invoke said chain law so long as such buses otherwise comply with this section.
   (E)   All buses must obtain a permit from the Chief of Police or his or her designee. The fee for said permit shall be in an amount as set forth on the schedule of fees, as may be adopted by the Village Council from time to time.
