For the purpose of this subchapter, the term HILLSIDE SUBDIVISION shall be construed to mean a subdivision in which land proposed to be subdivided has at least a 16% slope as defined in this subchapter. All provisions of this chapter as set forth herein shall apply to hillside subdivisions except as superseded by this subchapter, which is hereby made expressly applicable to hillside subdivisions only.
