§ 150.05 PROHIBITED SIGNS.
   The following signs are prohibited in the village:
   (A)   Signs which imitate or in any way approximate official highway signs, or which obscure a sign displayed by a public authority;
   (B)   Portable signs;
   (C)   Balloons, streamers, spinners, placards, pennants, and other similar wind-activated devices;
   (D)   Displays of letters, logos, trademarks, emblems, pictures, and the like, on such items as oversized facsimiles or three dimensional structures of chicken buckets, human figures, tin cans, and the like;
   (E)   Signs which contain statements, words, or pictures of obscene, indecent, or immoral character that would offend public morals or decency;
   (F)   Billboards;
   (G)   Signs that violate any provision of any state law;
   (H)   Any other sign which does not comply with the regulations of this chapter; and
   (I)   All off-premises directional signs erected on or after May 5, 1990 except village off-premises signs. All village off-premises directional signs shall be erected in accordance with the policy for village off-premises directional signs as adopted by the Village Council.
