A. Prohibition; Exceptions: It shall be unlawful to construct, build or maintain any fence composed in whole or in part of barbed wire or with any similar material designed to or which may cause injury to persons or any wire charged with electric current.
B. Violation; Penalty: Any person, firm or corporation, or agent, employee or contractor of such who violates or resists enforcement of this section shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. An offense is deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues; provided, however, that as to fences existing when this section is adopted, an offense is not deemed committed until a violator is given written notice that his fencing violates a Municipal ordinance.
