A. Fire Hydrants And Valves:
1. Opening Of Fire Hydrants: No person shall open any fire hydrant or draw water therefrom except the chairman and persons under his direction or with his permission, except in case of fire when the head of the appropriate Fire Department, his assistant officers and members thereof, shall have free and entire control of the hydrants for the purpose of extinguishing fire.
2. Opening Of Valves Or Gates: No person except the chairman and employees or agents under his direction shall open or close any valve or gate in any water system main or service connection or in any manner interfere with or obstruct the same.
B. Resale Prohibited: No water from the Village water system shall be resold to any person or premises other than that for which service has been granted and the meter installed, excepting therefrom emergency due to disaster as determined by chairman.
C. Tampering Prohibited: It is unlawful for any unauthorized person to damage, tamper with, alter or destroy any part of the water system or any meter. It is unlawful for any person to interfere with the construction, maintenance and repairs of the waterworks system or any meter. (Ord. 577, 3-22-1993)
