A. Extension Fee: Upon the extension of water system mains for the purpose of providing water service to customers, the party or parties paying the cost of such main extensions shall pay a fee to the village as a contribution in aid of construction so as to compensate the village for the reduction of the amount of system capacity available for use and to provide funds for future construction needed to restore such capacity. Said fee shall be equal to the sum of:
1. An amount based on the diameter of the water main extension and equal to the water connection fee set for that size water main in the rate ordinance; and
2. An amount based on the number of domestic and nondomestic residential equivalents served by the sewer main connection and equal to the sewer connection fees set for those equivalents in section 8-1-4 of this chapter.
B. Disposition Of Fee: The contribution in aid of construction shall be in addition to any other fees charged under this chapter and shall be deposited in the village's public works fund. (Ord. 577, 3-22-1993)
