There are hereby established charges and rates for the use of and for the service supplied by the water system of the Village. The rates shall be based upon the amount of water consumed as registered by water meters and by resolution of the Corporate Authorities as determined from time to time by them. (Ord. 577, 3-22-1993)
The adequacy of the water service charge or rate shall be reviewed, not less often than annually, by certified public accountants for the village in their annual audit report. The water service charge or rate shall be revised periodically to reflect a change in local capital costs or OM&R costs. (Ord. 799, 11-6-2001)
