7-2-6: AREA LIMIT; TEMPORARY SIDEWALKS:

It shall be unlawful to render more than one-half (1/2) the width of any street unavailable for travel in connection with any excavation or tunnel. If any sidewalk is blocked by any such work, a temporary sidewalk shall be constructed or provided which shall be safe for travel and convenient for users. (Ord. 380, 3-9-1987)
