6-3-1: PROHIBITED PARKING:
At any time it shall be unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand in any of the following places, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic control device:
   A.   In any intersection.
   B.   In a crosswalk.
   C.   Upon any bridge or viaduct.
   D.   Within thirty feet (30') of a traffic signal, beacon or sign on the approaching side.
   E.   Within twenty feet (20') of any intersection or crosswalk.
   F.   At any place where the standing of a vehicle will reduce the usable width of a roadway for moving traffic to less than eighteen feet (18').
   G.   Within fifteen feet (15') of a fire hydrant.
   H.   At any place where the vehicle would block the use of a driveway.
   I.   Within fifty feet (50') of the nearest rail of a railroad grade crossing.
   J.   Within twenty feet (20') of the driveway entrance to any Fire Department station and on the side of the street opposite the entrance to any such Fire Department station within seventy five feet (75') of said entrance when properly posted.
   K.   On any sidewalk or parkway, except as permitted by subsection 11-12-2H of this Code or section 6-3-8 of this chapter.
   L.   In any place where the official signs prohibit parking.
   M.   In any area which is otherwise designated as limited or prohibited parking.
   N.   Specific streets or parts of streets:
      1.   Route 47: Parking shall not be permitted along Illinois Route 47 within the corporate limits of the Village.
      2.   Main Street:
         a.   Upon both sides of Main Street, between Cross Street and North of Meadows Street to the dead-end in the Village, no person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, upon the roadway at any time, but in every event a clear and unobstructed width of the street shall be left for the free passage of other vehicles and a clear view of such stopped vehicle shall be available the entire distance of both sides of Main Street between Cross Street and north of Meadows Street to the dead-end.
      3.   Route 30:
         a.   That parking shall not be permitted along Route 30 from Dugan Road to U.S. Route 47 within the corporate limits of the Village of Sugar Grove.
         b.   That the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sugar Grove will prohibit future parking at such locations on or immediately adjacent to Route 30 as may be determined and directed by the State of Illinois to be necessary to ensure the free flow of traffic and safety to the motoring public.
      4.   Upon both sides of Snow Street, between Main Street and McCannon Street and on both sides of Grove Street between Snow Street and Calkins Drive, no person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, upon the roadway during school days from eight o’clock (8:00) a.m. to nine o’clock (9:00) a.m. and from three o’clock (3:00) p.m. to four o’clock (4:00) p.m., but in every event a clear and unobstructed width of the street shall be left for the free passage of other vehicles.
