The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
TOW CAR: A motor vehicle which has been altered or designed and equipped for and exclusively used in the business of towing vehicles by means of a crane, towbar, towline or dolly, or is otherwise exclusively used to render assistance to other vehicles.
TOWING FIRM: Any firm or company selected hereunder by the village to render the provisions of towing service hereunder.
TOWING SERVICE: The provision of tow truck services in response to a dispatch or request from the police department or any other municipal department. (Ord. 2009-11-03, 11-3-2009)
