5-2-2-15: PROSTITUTION:
   A.   Prohibited: Any person who performs, offers or agrees to perform any of the following acts for money, commits an act of prostitution:
      1.   Any act of sexual intercourse; or
      2.   Any act of "deviant sexual conduct" as defined in 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/12-12.
   B.   Keeping A Place Of Prostitution: Any person who has or exercises control over the use of any place which could offer seclusion or shelter for the practice of prostitution or who performs any of the following acts keeps a place of prostitution:
      1.   Knowingly grants or permits the use of such place for the purpose of prostitution; or
      2.   Grants or permits the use of such place under the circumstances from which he could reasonably know that the place is used or is to be used for purposes of prostitution; or
      3.   Permits the continued use of a place after becoming aware of facts or circumstances from which he should reasonably know that the place is being used for purposes of prostitution. (Ord. 354, 7-8-1985)
   C.   Soliciting: It shall be unlawful for any person to solicit on any street, alley or public place in the Village for the purpose of inducing any person to engage in prostitution or any unlawful sexual intercourse of any kind. (Ord. 12, 10-15-1957)
   D.   Patronizing A Prostitute: Any person who performs any of the following acts with a person not his or her spouse, commits the offense of patronizing a prostitute:
      1.   Engages in an act of sexual intercourse or "deviant sexual conduct" as defined in 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/12-12 with a prostitute; or
      2.   Enters or remains in a place of prostitution with intent to engage in an act of sexual intercourse or deviant sexual conduct as described in 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/12-12. (Ord. 354, 7-8-1985)
