A. It shall be unlawful for any vehicle or combination of vehicles between the period of March 1 and May 15 of any year to operate upon the streets within the Village with a gross weight of any single axle exceeding eight thousand (8,000) pounds with a maximum gross of thirty-two thousand (32,000) pounds. The Director of Public Works may prohibit the operation of vehicles upon any public street within the Village or impose further restrictions as to the weight of vehicles to be operated on public streets whenever that street may be seriously damaged or destroyed by vehicular use, including, but not limited to, deterioration from freeze/thaw cycles or other climatic conditions.
B. Such weight restrictions shall be imposed by posting the legible signs, at points of access to the street from other public ways, which state. (Ord. 2019-12-03B, 12-3-2019)
