(a) No child under the age of eighteen years shall be upon the streets and sidewalks of the City between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following morning. However, the provisions of this section do not apply to a minor accompanied by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
(b) No parent or guardian of any child under the age of eighteen years shall allow such child on the streets or sidewalks of the City between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following morning. However, the provisions of this section do not apply to a minor accompanied by his parents, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
(c) Any minor violating the provisions of this section shall be dealt with in accordance with Juvenile Court law and procedure. Whoever violates subsection (b) hereof is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. (Ord. 92-9021. Passed 4-1-92.)
