(a) The following area is hereby designated as a crosswalk: a ten-foot wide strip of roadway, the center line of which is described as beginning at the point where the center line of Como Street extended intersects with the east curb line of Fifth Street, thence approximately forty feet in a northwesterly direction to a point where the west curb line of Fifth Street intersects with a line which is twenty-two feet north of the center line of Como Street.
(b) No operator of any vehicle shall fail to yield the right of way to any pedestrian lawfully walking in, crossing or occupying the area designated in subsection (a) hereof.
