1351.08 PERMIT FOR BILLBOARD.
No billboard or sign board, illuminated or other, other roof sign or other similar structure such as is described in Sections 1351.05 to 1351.15, shall be erected or maintained in the City, unless a permit shall first have been secured by the person desiring to erect or maintain the same, from the Building Inspector, to whom an application for such permit shall be made. Such application shall be accompanied by such plans and specifications of the proposed billboard, sign board or illuminated or other roof sign and the location of the same, as are necessary to fully advise and acquaint the Building Inspector with the construction of the same. If the plans and specifications accompanying such application shall be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 1351.05 to 1351.15, and shall not in the opinion of the Building Inspector violate in any way the provisions of Section 1351.05, and shall be accompanied by the necessary consents of the property owners, as provided by Section 1351.06, the Building Inspector shall thereupon issue a permit for the erection of such billboard, sign board or illuminated or other roof sign, upon payment of the fee hereinafter fixed; and shall keep a copy of such plans and specifications on file in his office.
