1351.02 ATTACHED DISPLAY SIGN; BOND OR INSURANCE.
   The owner or person in control of a sign or outdoor display structure suspended over a street or sidewalk shall execute a bond or shall file with the office of the Building Inspector a certificate of public liability insurance in a sum to be fixed by the Building Inspector with sureties approved by the Inspector, indemnifying the City against all loss, cost, damage or expense incurred or sustained by or recovered against the Municipality by reason of the construction or maintenance of such display sign. Such surety bond or public liability certificate shall remain current and shall be renewed each year or at regular intervals. It is further provided that the Building Inspector shall have the necessary authority to order any owner or person in control of a sign or display sign to take it down or remove it if such sign or display sign is unsafe, and if the public liability insurance certificate or bond has expired or is inadequate.
