For the purposes of this chapter the following terms shall be given the meaning defined herein.
(a) "Junk yard" means a site used to store junk, rags, old automobiles, damaged automobiles, salvaged automotive parts, old paper, bagging, old brass, old iron, tin, bottles, lead and slush.
(b) "Block" shall not mean a square, but shall embrace only that part of the street bounding the square which lies between the nearest intersecting street on each side thereof.
