The Mayor shall not deliver such license or permit to any person until he has received for the use of the City the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each day or night of performance under one month, the sum of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for each month under one year, or the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for one year.
