735.01 DEFINITION.
   As used in this chapter, "manually operated amusement device" means a shuffle board, shuffle alley or pool table type amusement device and is further known as a machine which, upon the insertion of a coin, may be operated manually as a game, contest or amusement of any description, or which may be used for any such game, contest or amusement and which contains no automatic payoff device. The provisions of this chapter do not apply to juke boxes, phonographs or radios. (1955 Code §927.01)
