The Planning Director shall have a minimum of a four-year college degree combined with two (2) years’ experience in municipal planning or seven (7) years’ experience in municipal planning, and be selected on the basis of his or her executive and administrative qualifications with special reference to experience in and knowledge of municipal planning and zoning with respect to the duties of the office. The Planning Director shall not hold, be employed, appointed, elected, designated or assigned the duties of any other position or office with the City.
