The Recreation Director shall be selected on the basis of his or her executive and administrative qualifications with special reference to experience and knowledge of accepted practices in respect to the duties of a recreation department. The Recreation Director shall have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, college or equivalent educational institution, with emphasis on recreation or a degree in a substantially-related field.
