Any person, firm, or corporation who fails to register within ten (10) days of notification shall be charged an additional administrative fee of twice the registration cost, as specified in Chapter 149 of the Codified Ordinances. A written request can be made to the Building Director stating the reasons the registration will not or could not be submitted within that time period. If the Building Director rules that the reasons are justified he may waive the additional fee. Until registered, no contractor or subcontractor required to be registered may undertake any regulated work or improvement.
