§ 32.33 FEES AND EXPENSES CHARGED WITH SERVICES PERFORMED.
   (A)   The Police Chief, in the performance of services set forth hereinafter, shall charge the fees and expenses provided, which fees and expenses shall be taxed to other departments or agencies or courts for which the services are performed.
   (B)   These services and the fees therefor are as permitted and provided for by R.C. § 737.19.
   (C)   The Police Department shall tax the following fees and expenses as costs, to be collected from the agency for which the service is provided, and paid to the General Fund of the village:
      (1)   Serving and making return of each of the following:
         (a)   Order to commit to jail, order on jailer for prisoner or order of ejectment, including copies to complete service: $1 for each defendant named therein;
         (b)   Search warrant or warrant of arrest, for each person named in the writ: $5;
         (c)   Writ of attachment of property, except for purpose of garnishment: $20;
         (d)   Writ of attachment for the purpose of garnishment: $5;
         (e)   Writ of possession or restitution: $20;
         (f)   Attachment for contempt, for each person named in the write: $3;
         (g)   Writ of replevin: $20;
         (h)   Summons and writs, subpoena, venire and notice to garnishee, including copies to complete service: $3 for each person named therein;
         (i)   Execution against property or person: $0.80 and 6% of all money thus collected; and
         (j)   Any other writ, order or notice required by law, for each person named therein, including copies to complete service: $3 for the first name and $0.50 for each additional name.
      (2)   Mileage for the distance actually and necessarily traveled in serving and returning any of the preceding writs, orders and notices: $0.50 for the first mile and for each additional mile, $0.20;
      (3)   For attending a criminal case during the trial or hearing and having charge of prisoners, each case: $2.50, but, when so acting, such constable shall not be entitled to a witness fee if called upon to testify;
      (4)   For attending civil court during a jury trial, each case: $2;
      (5)   For attending civil court during a trial without jury, each case: $1.50;
      (6)   The actual amount paid solely for the transportation, meals and lodging of prisoners, and for the moving and storage of goods and the care of animals taken on any legal process, such expense shall be specifically itemized on the back of the writs and sworn to;
      (7)   For summoning and swearing appraisers, each case: $2;
      (8)   For advertising property for sale, by posting, taken on any legal process: $1; and
      (9)   For taking and making return of any bond required by law: $0.80.
   (D)   Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, if any comparable fee or expense specified under R.C. §§ 311.17 or 737.19 is increased to an amount greater than that set forth in this section, then the Village Council may, by ordinance, require that the amount taxed as costs and fees under this section equal the amount specified under said increased amounts.
