There is hereby created the position of Chief Operator within the Water and Sewer Department of the village, with the following job description. The Chief Operator of the wastewater treatment plant will serve as a crew leader of other operators and laborers working at the wastewater treatment plant. The Chief Operator will report to and work closely with the Water and Sewer Superintendent/Village Administrator to identify projects at the wastewater treatment plant and utilize available manpower to complete them. The Chief Operator will plan daily work schedules and delegate duties to subordinates to ensure that all operational and maintenance activities at the wastewater treatment plant are completed in a manner consistent with Ohio EPA requirements and to the satisfaction of the Water and Sewer Superintendent/Village Administrator.
