(A) There is hereby established a monthly gasoline allowance for the water meter reader of the village, as an additional stipend to reimburse him or her for the use of his or her own personal automobile to perform his or her duties, said monthly gasoline allowance to consist of one fill-up per month for the automobile used by his or her for work from the gasoline supply tanks owned and operated by the village.
(B) The monthly gas allowance stipend shall be allowed as reimbursement in addition to the hourly compensation currently being paid to said water meter reader.
