(A) Water meters, unless otherwise authorized by the village, shall be located in meter boxes consisting of a four-inch by four-inch masonry pit covered with an approved top, Ford Type C or equal. Meter boxes and curb stops shall not be constructed in or under any rigid paving materials.
(B) All water service lines shall be not less than four feet below finished grade at any point. When sanitary sewer ditches are used for installation of water service lines, a distance of at least four feet above and to either side of such sanitary sewer line shall be maintained at all point of installation, if at all possible, or the water serviceable shall be installed in a separate ditch or trench at a distance of not less than six feet from any ditch or trench which has/been used for a sanitary sewer.
(C) Curb stops and corporation stops shall be a Mueller compression type fitting or equal.
