Any consumer unit, presently or in the future, connected to the water and/or sewer system will be subject to the rates as established. Any relief from these charges can only be secured in the following manner:
(A) By the owner following change in use procedure as outlined in the Zoning Code; or
(B) By the owner of property requesting, in writing, the removal of a unit by completely shutting of and totally disconnecting the unit from the services, with lines connected thereto to be capped, and sealed by owner, at his or her expense, with a final inspection by the Water and Sewer Superintendent/Village Administrator. At the time service is restored to such a unit, a new tapping permit would be required for each of the services at the rate if effect at the time of reconnection.
