§ 51.027 CONNECTION PERMITS; RENEWAL FEES.
   (A)   A permit for connection to the water or sewer system, when issued by the village, shall be valid for the property for which application was made; provided, however, that such connection shall be made within six months from the date of issuance. If such connection is not made within six months, the property owner shall apply to the village within 30 days of the expiration of the permit for renewal of the connection permit. Such permit renewal shall be issued by the village; provided that the owner pays to the village a fee for renewal of the tap fee or permit in the amount of $25 plus an amount equal to any increase in the fees or charges required for such tap fee or permit.
   (B)   The renewal of a tap fee or permit for connection to the water or sewer system, when issued by the village, shall be valid for the property for which original application was made; provided, however, that the connection permitted is made within six months of the date of issuance. However, if the connection permitted in such renewal is not made within six months of the date of the issuance, then the provision of this section for renewal of original tap fee or permits shall apply.
   (C)   Unused water and sewer connections permits which are not renewed as provided herein shall be void and the tap fee or permit fees paid to the village shall be refunded to the applicant less an administrative charge of $25 for each expired tap fee or permit.
   (D)   No permit shall be renewed for connection to a property on which the owner permits the continuation of any violation of village ordinances or regulations pertaining to buildings, zonings, sewage, water or health matters.
