The Building Department shall have the duties and responsibilities as prescribed by Sections 7.03, 7.04 and 7.05 of the Charter and established by the Director of Public Service. The Chief Building Official, who shall be the certified agent and chief enforcement official as defined in the Ohio Administrative Code; Chapter 4101:1 and Chapter 4101:8, shall be the designated Department head by appointment of the Director of Public Service.
