141.14 PERMIT APPLICATION; BOND.
   (a)   Application for Permit. (There shall be no charge for the permit required by Section 141.13 of this chapter.)
      (1)   No person shall engage in Special Police duties, as a plant protection guard, unless and until the permit has been first issued. Applications for these permits shall be obtained from the office of the Chief of Police. Application shall include, but not be limited to, the following information:
         A.   Fingerprints of the applicant;
         B.   A photograph of the applicant; and
         C.   The past addresses and past employment of the applicant.
      (2)   In addition, each applicant, at the time of filing the application, shall be twenty-one years of age or older.
   (b)   Bond. Those applicants who are granted a permit by the Mayor, acting as Director of Public Safety, shall, before their commission is effective, post with the City a surety bond in favor of the City in the amount which shall be set, from time to time, by legislative authority, to indemnify against malfeasance, misfeasance or nonfeasance in office.
